Ingenium #WelcomeRefugees Campaign

As part of Canada's extraordinary #WelcomeRefugees efforts, Ingenium wants to do its part.
We are helping to sponsor a family of Syrian refugees, set to arrive in Ottawa in the next few weeks. The family is comprised of a widow and her six children. The five youngest are all girls (including 6-year old twins, one of whom is disabled), while the eldest is a boy.
The sponsoring group has rented a house for the family, near Carlingwood Mall in Ottawa's west end - the neighbourhood I grew up in.
While the community group has raised the funds required for formal sponsorship, we are fundraising for extras to help ease the family's settlement and be comfortable in their new home. Any contribution would be most appreciated.
If you have household items, furniture, kids' clothing and books for helping to learn English, these would also be most welcome. A drop off weekend will likely be set up for Jan 2-3rd. For details, please contact [email redacted].
