Helping Inga's Family in Dominica

On Monday September 18th Inga's mom, dad, grandmother, brothers, sister, countless friends, and other relatives were struck by category 5 Hurricane Maria in Dominica. We live in a time where there seems to be so many in need across the world and so much sadness. This is one small way to really make a difference for a friend's family who could use our help.  The village where Inga was born and raised is completely gone. This is what we know so far... 80% of the buildings are damaged (hospitals included), most communication lines have been destroyed, no electricity, no running water, and markets have been flattened leaving little food to buy.  Inga's entire family in Dominica have been displaced.  They are limited to one meal a day to make sure it lasts until help arrives which could be days or weeks.  Inga cannot do this alone and is feeling quite overwhelmed. She is reaching out to her community for help.  We are hoping she can personally deliver or at the very least wire over any money raised directly to her parents. In times like these we can feel powerless and sometimes uncomfortable. Watching our dear friend go through this has been heartbreaking.  Let's show Inga and her family how much they are loved.  Anything is appreciated. Thank you!
