Infertility Research Study by PHRI

We are conducting research to investigate if a manual therapy protocol that many physical therapists utilize today is an effective treatment for mechanical infertility. This technique is not well known because of limited clinician training and limited anecdotal research to validate its use.  Read the case series where 6/10 women conceived with an average of 4 PT sessions.
-1 in 8 couples will struggle with infertility during their reproductive years.  
-Current infertility treatment is expensive and comes with moderate health risks.
-We believe low cost options for mechanical infertility should be available to all women across the globe.
-Families and friends can sponsor the cost of a participant through the course of the study through a donation of $720.00

Pelvic Health Research Initiative (PHRI) is a not-for-profit organization created by a group of dedicated pelvic health physical therapists with the goal of supporting research for the treatment of pelvic pathology. When these therapists attempted to secure grants to fund the mechanical infertility study listed above they were unsucessful on multiple occasions. Unfortunately research in the field of infertility by physical therapists  has not been able to capture the attention of the research community. Therefore PHRI has turned to the public through the power of social media in an attempt to to fund this study and future studies in the field of pelvic health.
