Help Indies teeth be as pretty as her smile by getting her a trip to the dentist!
Indy is a 12 year old retired sledding dog who is very intelligent, so much so that she was the lead sled dog, a mentor for rookie sled dogs and even showed new mushers the trail routes!
I adopted Indy over a year ago and she has made a huge impact on our families life! Indy is a very sweet and beautiful dog inside and out, but unfortunately her teeth do not match. She is suffering from major teeth rot and gum recession which is now causing the bone to be exposed and causing pain. Indy requires 6 teeth to be removed, which is an expensive and lengthy process. Ignoring dental disease can lead to irreversible heart conditions and more. Additionally, Indy has a heart murmur. With a dog her age going into surgery, we need to have chest and lung ultrasounds and x-rays done by a specialist to ensure that she can get through her surgery safe and come out as healthy as possible!
This amount of money is tough to come by for a young adult continuing studies in university, so any amount of money will help and be extremely appreciated!
This little girl worked hard throughout her life and deserves to have a long lasting retirement.
