Last year, I was fortunate enough to travel and create two beautiful murals in Tanzania! I was invited to work with 500 students at Kisimani School who had never had the opportunity to take art classes. These murals transformed their school walls and brought a lot of joy and pride to not only the children, but to the whole community. This amazing experience transformed me as well! Since then I've created more community murals and I realize that this is exactly what I would like to do more of!

This year, I've been invited by the State Senior High School 9 Binus, in Manado, Indonesia to develop a new project in collaboration with the school and the Regional English Language Office for Indonesia and East Timor of the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta. The project will combine visual arts and literacy activities to increase students' oral and written English language skills. The students will produce colorful books for Kindergarten & Elementary school age children and a colorful mural for their school.
I'm planning to be there from March 17- 26, 2018. Laura Marvel, an art teacher from Creative Adventures, will join me and help me with this wonderful project. We are trying to raise $6000 in funds. This will cover supplies such as paper, paint, brushes, our flight tickets and expenses that will turn this project into a reality. From the total funds raised, we will donate 10% to improve other literacy programs in Indonesia.
My goal is to bring more color to the world! I would love it if you could help me create more of these wonderful community projects!
I can't thank you enough for your support. It means so much to me and the students who will benefit from this project.
Thank you with all my heart,
PS: All extra funding raised will go to future community projects from Creative Adventures, Inc.
