Welcome to our page! This is our year-end push to raise the remaining funds we need for our medical mission trips to India in January and February of 2019!!
Our organization consists of 100% volunteers. All team members bear their own costs for the mission trips abroad.
Your donations will help provide free life-altering medical procedures and surgeries to patients in India during the months of January and February and will go directly towards supplies and medical expenses for our camps. Even $5 will help change a person's life.
* $150 covers all expenses for one cleft lip reconstruction surgery
(Costs for more complex cleft palate and facial reconstruction surgeries range from $250 – $500)
* $100 covers postoperative medicines for 15 children
* $50 covers baby formula for an infant for 6 months
* $25 covers bandages for 10 children
Donations of $500 or more will receive a special gift set
Donations of $250 or more will receive a handmade tote
ABOUT US:
The India Project is a nonprofit organization created in 1968 by 8 time Nobel Peace Prize nominated plastic surgeon from NYC: Padmashree Dr. Sharad Kumar Dicksheet. He operated tirelessly, from his wheelchair, helping thousands of children over 40 years. Over his lifetime, his work has impacted over a million people! The organization supports the underserved populations of India by providing access to life-changing facial reconstruction surgeries, health screenings, schools and sustainability initiatives.
