Colaiste Choilm in Tullamore Co. Offaly is preparing for its 9th India Immersion project which will take place in February 2020. 12 students, 3 teachers and 2 past pupils will travel to Mumbai in India for two and a half weeks. They will work with the poor, homeless, sick, abandoned and street children in places such as the Don Bosco Shelter and the Mother Theresa Centre, Ashadaan. The trip is a life changing one for the students who go and their main aim while there is to bring care and compassion to those they meet. The funds raised will make the trip possible and once costs are covered any remaining funds are given directly to the people we work with and meet in Mumbai.
Without the generous support of friends, family, past-pupils and the local community this project will not be a success. Our aim is to reach our goal of €2,000 by December 2019. With your help we will get to Mumbai and lose ourselves in the service of others.
