India Floods - Family & Neighbors

Hi All,
My friend and work colleague Ramesh at Percona, his family and neighbors have suffered greatly in the floods in Kerala, India.
The water is now almost gone, and cleanup is in progress.
Electricity is back, however Ramesh is waiting with turning on the main switch of his house for obvious reasons of electrical safety.
He is cleaning his house, and helping with the neighbors around him.
While it is great that the water is almost gone, regrettably the photo's tell a sad story.

There is now need for financial help to aid Ramesh' own household, and his neighbors ones.
As Ramesh lives on the river side, almost 85% of people got affected. Most of his neighbors lost everything, including documents.
The community is in need of sleeping materials (pillows, blankets etc. - even if just for floor based sleep), clothes, basic furniture, school items, re-issue of documents, etc. This is where your donations will go to.
Rather then all of us (thank you for those who have offered) contributing one-by-one and in different ways, we thought it would be best to set up a common bucket where everyone can contribute.
The funds donated will be used to buy the required goods, which are then shipped directly to Ramesh for distribution. The funds donated will be used to the very best, for disaster relief and the most basic human needs. All receipts will be kept for transparency.
Please give generously.
