India Covid Emergency - India needs Oxygen & food

An Australian resident and Indian citizen, feeling helpless sitting 10,000 km away from my loved ones who are struggling every single minute to stay alive as the COVID infection numbers in India continue to rise again.
This fundraising is for families who are struggling to find basic medical help (medicines, oxygen, tests) and food to survive. Tens of thousands are going to bed hungry as the country shuts down to battle the pandemic and thousands are dying every day because of a lack of oxygen.
The COVID-19 situation in India is dire!
Hospitals and paramedic services are overwhelmed and patients are dying due to lack of oxygen while waiting for hours in ambulances for hospital beds. The constant thought of losing a loved one, the uncertainty of when we would see the family again, to see people not even able to get help to save their lives is just heartbreaking.
Piles of dead bodies (average 2800 a day ) , people crying for help outside the hospital, and dying on the streets due to lack of resources is just gut-wrenching. The country has so far confirmed more than 186,000 deaths and 16 million cases - three million have been added just in the last two weeks. These numbers are likely to be well under the true toll.
This fund will help in providing essential food packages and medical help to families in the slums and daily wage earners in rural & urban areas of the country.
I will keep posting updates regularly on how this money is being used. A lot of people have reached out to me in order to make donations but not sure where to donate, I'm working with reliable charities who are working tirelessly day & night to help people affected.
I will be donating to Hemkunt Foundation, which is working tirelessly day & night to provide Oxygen & food for free to the people affected. My family will also be distributing food and medicines in the rural areas themselves.
