In the memory of Lia Fatima.

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected and tragic loss of a beloved member of our community, Lia Fatima, daughter of Usman Zafar and Sana Usman, who passed away.

Lia was admitted to Vanderbilt with bacterial infection ecoli. She developed complications of HUS. She suffered multiple strokes and was declared brain dead within 8 days of being admitted to the hospital.

Lia was a bright, loving, and wonderful child who touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Please join us in honoring her memory and supporting her family during this difficult time.

In the time since Lia passed, their family has been overwhelmed with grief and expenses associated with their loss, including medical expenses and other costs that have arisen.

We are now raising funds to help support the family during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go towards helping the family cover the family medical expenses.
