"In Support of Susan"

Susan... A 54 year old loving and caring wife, mother of two beautiful girls 18 and 14, daughter, sister and friend to so many has had a terrible stroke.
On Monday 02/12/18 she was life lined from the hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana to a hospital in Indianapolis Indiana for emergency surgery and the attempt to remove the blockage was unsuccessful.
Unfortionately there was little that could be done. The damage done to the left side of her brain is irreversable. Life for the family is forever changed but shes far from out out of the woods yet as she is still in critical care in the neuro sciences unit.
Right now Susan is doing as well as to be expected she does recognize her loved ones and feel and sense and know that they love her. She needs this. She needs them there as much as they can be to motivate her spirits and encourage Susan to keep moving forward as she relearns how to do nearly everything in life. For this reason we are calling the campaign "Supporting Susan".
This isn't just about raising money to help out. It's about the emotional support she needs too. Get well cards would be so wonderful! On the flip side Insurance only covers so much and certainly doesn't cover the trip expenses to get to her and provide her the family support her husband and children can bring her. We don't know what this will cost in the end yet but we do know that helicopter is going to be a doosy.
There have been so many so loving and caring people wanting to know how they can help and we thank you for that. At this moment, this and get well cards and prayers are the best way that everyone can do something to help. It doesn't matter how much or how little. It all helps.
There will be many ways in the future to be in support of Susan as well. There are plans in the making for several differant types of benifits. Also, people have been reaching out to come and help at the house but right now the main focus is just getting to her, being with her and seeing her through this next crucial week.
