Shawn Cyphers Community Fundraiser

On the evening of October 16, Shawn was riding his bike home from work when he was hit by a truck. The driver  fled the scene, leaving Shawn injured on the side of the road. Shawn was rushed to the hospital and brought to the ICU. He is currently still in the hospital and is stable, but the accident has left him with multiple broken ribs, both of his ankles broken, and in need of surgery.  Shawn is an incredibly kind and hardworking person. Every day, for over 25 years, he  has  ridden his bike to and from his home in North Morro Bay to his workplace as a cook at a nursing home in South Morro Bay.  With the injuries he has sustained, he won't be able to return to work for some time. We are hoping to pull together as a community to help him during his leave and with his medical expenses, any donations help.  Thank you
