In support of Mother(s)! 3 Leg Torso & Storm Large

Donation protected
Dear friends,

As you probably know, when the pandemic hit last year,  we were all blindsided by this unusual crisis and had no idea that in just a matter of weeks our lives would drastically change. Our main source of income had suddenly dried up, and we were all scratching our heads wondering what to do next.  After  presenting a few livestreams, we decided this wasn't enough for us as artists and that we needed to create something new and unique.

So, in November, we rolled up our sleeves and created our fifty-two minute holiday film special, The Elves of Northern Frostländ, which was broadcast worldwide to a wildly enthusiastic audience that had been thirsting for entertainment throughout the course of the year. Fans from as far away as Chicago, Berlin, Great Britain, and Tel Aviv tuned in for the premiere.

Shortly after we aired this first broadcast musical theater film, we started creating  a film for Mother's Day.  The script was written, our film and audio crew were fully aboard, we partnered with the Lakewood Center for the Arts to be our home for the shoot, and we hit the jackpot by bringing Storm Large (Pink Martini) as a featured actor into the production!

Here's a sneak peak at the film title and synopsis:

M is for Mischief
An overworked, single mother is unknowingly avenged by her four mischievous sons, who discover she has been mistreated by her deplorable boss, Mr. McDonald. The brothers secretly use their musical power to prank her wretched boss, who learns the hard way that it’s not nice to fool with Mother Torso.

As you can imagine, this is an ambitious project which is expensive to produce. The costs of the crew - including camera operators, editors, audio recordists, sound designers, production assistants, craft services, advertising, etc, are just a few of the expenses we pay to make all of the magic happen.

Even with the generous contributions from our business and private sponsors, we have quite a ways to go before we reach our budget target.

This is why we're reaching out to you, our loyal and enthusiastic fans - asking you to support us so we can continue to do what we do best: Create art and music for ALL to enjoy, and to provide a pleasant and inspiring distraction from the complexities of the real world.

As an honored contributor to this film, you will be rewarded with a digital download of all the new music we created for M is for Mischief!

And last, but not least, as we all endeavor to care for each other as a community,
3 Leg Torso will be donating a large percentage of the ticket sales from M is for Mischief to Raphael House, an organization which provides safe haven to survivors of domestic abuse.

We are humbled and ever so grateful for your continued support!
