In remembrance of Zeb Tudor

An amazing Nurse, caring father and husband, witty and funny friend, Zeb Tudor, passed away Thursday February 1, 2018, ending a painful three-year struggle with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and cancer.

Zeb was a warm, compassionate man who was quick to serve others. He always looked to help those in need. No words can properly describe him, for he was so many things to so many people. He was driven, smart, funny, loving, and charming. He would help anybody who needed it and now it’s time to give back to his sweet family.

Zeb was born in Waterloo, Iowa, but moved to the Valley of the Sun when he was young. He went to Marcos de Niza High School and then on to ASU, where he got a degree in business. In 2013, he finished his nursing degree at Gateway Community College fulfilling a passion that he had to help others. He worked as a nurse at Banner from Sept 2014 – Feb 2018. His patients loved him and he was instrumental in assisting countless people during that time. He was nominated 6 times for the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. In April 2017, he was nominated for his contribution to the nursing profession. Patients noticed that Zeb always went above and beyond to assist. He was such a caring individual that truly thought of others before himself.

Besides nursing, Zeb loved his family. He started dating the love of his life, Jennifer Brunn, in 2015. They were married in 2017 and together had baby Nash, born in 2017. Nash joined half siblings Kyden (8), Payton (8), and Sophia (7). Zeb was a devoted husband and father. He adored his wife and children. Zeb’s smile and laugh would light up a room and he will be so deeply missed by his family.

Many have asked how they can help...
We are asking for help to go towards the many expenses his sweet wife is now facing after Zeb fought liver cancer, and an auto immune disease for almost 3 years. He never complained and ALWAYS had a positive attitude on life and was brave until the end. All proceeds will go directly to his wife and children. Thank you so much for any help that you can give.

Please feel free to share a memory, picture, or thought as well. Thank you to everybody in advance for anything you can give.

Lastly I found this poem and thought it fit Zeb perfectly....

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little-but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me-but let me go

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me but let me go.

Rest In Peace Zeb
