I’m Ali Yasser, a master’s student based in Berlin, and I’m excited to share my project with you—Dead Man’s Hand, a Western-inspired drama set in the early 1900s that addresses loyalty, sacrifice, and the choices that define us. This story follows Charles, a man conflicted between the promises of freedom from a father figure outlaw and his duty to his family, exploring the cost of living by your own rules. Why This film matters?

“Dead Man’s Hand” is a 25–30-minute film that takes you into world of the wild west era, following Charles Wyatt through his complex relationships and moral struggles that define him.

We want to portray authenticity, period costumes and rustic props. This film is meant to be intimate yet epic, a character study that feels as vast as the landscape itself.

Costuming and Props: From leather-bound journals to Cowboy hats, we’ll invest in period-appropriate costumes and props to recreate the look and feel of the era down to the smallest details. These elements are essential for capturing the variety in Charles’s world.

Location Rental: I’ve secured a perfect filming location that brings the world of “Dead Man’s Hand” to life, three-day shoot. This location is essential for creating an authentic setting that immerses viewers in the story

Filmmaking is a collaborative art, and this project requires the expertise of a dedicated crew, the authenticity of realistic locations, and quality equipment to make each scene resonate.
