In Memory of Nassar Hussain

Nassar was a great man; so kind, generous and loving. We've been touched by the many messages that we've received from family, friends and complete strangers about how wonderful he was.
He dedicated his life to helping others, whether it was being a great dad, a loving husband or a supportive manager, he just wanted to make other people happy.
Nassar wasn't able to enjoy his retirement but we knew his plan was to dedicate a lot of time volunteering for the Edhi Foundation in Pakistan. He felt so privileged to be born in the UK and to have the life that he had, and was devastated by the extreme poverty that he saw when he visited Pakistan.
The Edhi Foundation has created Pakistan's only welfare system. From domestic violence refuges to ambulances services and hospitals, they support anyone who needs them, regardless of religion, sect or politics. Their motto is "live and help live", a modification of Nassar's favourite "live and let live".
We know that this is a difficult time for many people, but if you are able to donate even a small amount in Nassar's memory, we would really appreciate it.
When we said goodbye to Nassar, we promised him that we would raise money for his favourite charity. We hope to continue beyond this initial fundraising page and do many more things in his honour, including getting Attia to run 5km! We hope to carry on where he left off and work to make people's lives better.
