On the weekend, our beloved Zinzi Mani passed away suddenly at just 37 years old.

Zinzi was the Emergency Unit Manager at Life Beacon Bay Hospital - a trauma-trained nursing sister who dedicated her life to caring for others. She was known for her calm leadership, quick decision-making, and deeply compassionate patient care. Her passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Zinzi was the only child of Florence Mani, who is now facing the unimaginable heartbreak of burying her daughter. Florence and Zinzi were everything to each other. Zinzi supported her mother financially in every way - from daily living expenses to medical care.

Florence worked in our family home for over 30 years, and Zinzi grew up alongside us, going to school with us, sharing in our lives. She wasn’t our sister by birth, but she was our sister in every other way. She was an integral part of our family.

We are raising funds to support Florence during this devastating time, to help cover immediate funeral costs, ease financial pressures, and give her the time and space she needs to grieve without worrying about how she’ll get by.
