Yana Maizel lost her battle with cancer on July 08, 2021, in Paris, France.

She was an incredible woman - actress, director, dancer, choreographer, and teacher as well as a passionate volunteer for humanitarian causes. Yana was a mother, wife, daughter, and granddaughter in addition to being a loyal friend and the most inspiring person one could ever hope to meet.

She is survived by her Grandmother Ida, father Vel, daughter Clara and husband Benoit… who will struggle to cope with this tragedy as they did after losing Yana's mother to the same disease.

Friends and Family in Canada, France, Spain, Russia and many other countries are joining together to find consolation in sharing their cherished memories of Yana, her life and her art.

We all want to honour Yana’s final wishes: to rest in peace in the centre of her beloved Paris, to see her art continue to thrive and for her daughter know a healthy and happy life.
