In memory of Vania Iuston

This gofundme page is dedicated to my wonderful sister Vania. My support when things got rough, my saturday night TV and popcorn buddy, my world, my life. A very strong person who never let anything stand in her way, and who absolutely loved life. Friends and family were so important to her, as was her faith.

Vania unfortunately took ill at the start of November 2023. A week prior she had a cold/flu like most people would have, but she got over that reasonably quickly and returned to work and her life. As the first week of November wore on it was becoming clear she was not very well. Very early nights, lethargic, just unwell. She didn't get better - she landed in hospital running a high fever, was very confused..she just wasn't right.

The diagnosis came not long afterwards - Vania had acute myeloid leukaemia. Over the next 48 hours she would continue to get worse. She kept up the fight as long as she could, but she lost that fight, and passed away.

I'm Frank, Vania's brother, and I am now the only one left standing in our family of four - my mum and dad passed away in 2012 and 2014. As you can imagine I now face a lot of costs and with rent also hovering it's going to be very difficult to meet those costs.
