In Memory of Valery Edwards

This past weekend, on 11/22/2020, the world lost one of its most vibrant and loving souls in Valery Edwards. Ms. Edwards has been dealing with ongoing medical battles for years, and her fighting spirit was evident even during her final moments at Baptist South on Sunday.
She leaves behind daughters, nieces, nephews, grandkids, and friends who are all grieving. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to assist the family with medical and funeral expenses - to eliminate any financial stresses that they may be experiencing at this time.
If you've never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Valery Edwards, you may know her daughter - Vanessa Castellanos. BUT, if you don't know Vanessa either, let me give you a little rundown of who, and what, this GoFundMe is all about.
Just like the amazing woman who raised her, Vanessa is dearly loved by so many in the greater Jacksonville community. As a daughter, mother, wife, friend, and employee, Vanessa is 10/10 in every category. A true gem amongst us, unlike any other. Her loyalty, care, and willingness to help are unmatched and all of that was taught, and passed down, by her mother -- Ms. Valery Edwards. That was the greatest gift she gave her, and everyone that knew her got to experience it.
And over the last two years, Vanessa has spent EVERY SINGLE DAY loving on and looking after her mother. She was there kissing her and holding her hand until her very last breath.
Now, it's time we show that same level of care and love for her and her family. I kindly ask that you donate anything you can to help Ms. Valery Edwards be sent off the right way.
