In Memory of Tyson Lansberry

The world has lost another amazing young man due to the tragic effects of suicide.  It is difficult to express the void we feel with the unexpected loss of Tyson. 

Tyson was a senior at Lone Peak High School. He enjoyed drawing and being with his family and friends.  He was planning to attend art school and serve an LDS mission. 

Tyson was the youngest child. His siblings will greatly miss him and his contagious smile. This past year, he was the only child living at home.  This allowed for many great dinner conversations and quality time with his parents that they will treasure. 

Although Tyson was a quiet presence, he had a gift of making everyone laugh with just one word.  His closest friends will miss their video games and Mountain Dew all-nighters. 

Suicide is the leading cause of death from ages 10-17 years old. In Tyson’s case, there were no warning signs or explanations.
