Tina Ann Edwards
14th June 1958 - 19th December 2020
A beloved mother, nan, sister, auntie & friend

As a family our whole world came crashing down on the 19th of December. After falling ill very suddenly and spending only 8 nights in the Manor Hospital, we saw our precious mother pass away. There are no words to describe the heartbreak, the hurt, the shock or the grief we are feeling. That been said we are extremely grateful and overwhelmed with the messages of love & support we have received in the short time she was poorly and after her passing.

From messages we can tell you how truly loved and thought of she was, not only as a family member but as a friend, a colleague, a teacher & as a person over all. Many of them say the same in how she had lightened up their lives, was so thoughtful, how much she cherished her family and how much she will be missed by oh so many people.

What we can say about her is she gave everything to everyone, leaving little for herself. Her job at Hydesville Tower School was not only a job, but a passion and something in her life she loved to do. Her heart & soul went into her position which included running the breakfast club & after school care, break/dinner time supervisor and Nursery Fun Club. She was a true friend to have, her heart being as big as her smile. She was always there for us children should we ever need her and we were always there for her too.

We've have been inundated with requests to send flowers, contribute to her send off and to donate to a worthy cause in her honour. We haven't been able to respond in a constructive way yet as everyones thoughts and prayers have been all we have asked for, we do understand however that a lot of people are in limbo wondering how they can help and show respect to Tina.

Due to current circumstances with national lockdown, and having to limit the numbers significantly we were unsure of how we can respond to those requests mentioned above. We know should we not be in this position now, there would be hundreds of people wanting to show respects to Tina at her funeral. That being said we've decided to start this go fund me page should anyone want to contribute or donate in Tina's memory. This will be our one way of contributing money should you want to. We are more than happy for you to send flowers but under current restrictions only the ones on the hearse will be able to go into the crematorium. Any other flowers will resonate at Lucys house if you still wish to send them.

The money raised on this page will be split between two avenues. Firstly towards her funeral costs and the rest towards a chosen charity in Tinas name (which we are yet to decide. If you knew Tina well and would like to make a suggestion please feel free).

We are in the planning stages of organising a Football Match in her memory. We all know Tina was a big fan of her football. From supporting Manchester United, to following Matthew around Sunday mornings as a young boy, to then going on to watch her Grandsons. This is something we will 100% make happen, but again are unsure of the date, venue and time just yet due to restrictions. Once we have this in place we will inform everyone of the details. Again this will be a little fundraising event and anyone looking to contribute for that can do so on this page. Matt and a close family friend will be sorting this themselves and already have many players they'd love to ask in mind who will have known Tina including her 11, 10 and 8 year old grandsons John-Paul, Kai & Junior, who we know are going to be running rings round the old timers and stealing the show.

If anyone has ANY questions about this go fund me page, please do not hesitate to contact Katie, Lucy or Matt. We were very reluctant to be setting this up and hope we have made the right decision in doing so.

Thank you again for all your kind words, your thoughts and prayers have kept us going. We are going to miss our beautiful Mom so much.
