Sue and Rick had been in love and inseparable since their first date, 42 years ago (8/22/77). Together they created an enormous extended family with both of their own families, as well as all of the countless friends and people they helped along the way.
Sue raised many children; starting with her own 2 younger brothers and her own 4 children. She also helped to raise lots of nieces and nephews, friends of the family, and sometimes complete strangers-anyone down on their luck. Everyone who knew her, knew she couldn't go ANYWHERE without striking up a conversation with someone, learning their life story, and offering to help them in any way she could.
Sue was a unique and free spirit, who was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in. She always rooted for the underdog and tried her hardest to lift your spirits and make you laugh. Always the first one on the dance floor and bringing everyone else with her, she was the life of the party.
Susan Eileen Francis Purtell Braccidiferro, the most vibrant soul, will be deeply missed. Her endless love will continue to shine on through all of our hearts and memories.
