Dr. Stephen Wright, aged 32 - Family Support Fund

The absolutely incredible Stephen Wright passed away on 26th January 2021, leaving behind his beautiful young family.
His wife, Charlotte and their 2 boys, Izaac, 7 and Elijah, 1.
Stephen was an amazing, funny, smart, kind, warm and loving person. This is evident from the hundreds of people who knew him, even those only on virtual platforms.
He was a very good friend who I have known for so many years. I am absolutely devastated for this to have happened.
Stephen was a Dr within the NHS, he worked in CAMHS helping children and families and was due to start at Great Ormond Street Hospital which he would work at alongside CAMHS. His new role was working as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in the Neurodisability Service helping young people with complex Autism. His loss is felt by all in his field.
When alive Stephen joined the organ donation list at least 6 times, and he was able to fulfil his wish.
Stephen suffered a very rare Cerebral Venous Stroke. There was some evidence of an auto-immune disease which caused his platelet count to be very, very low. It happened quickly and there were no obvious symptoms which leaves the family in a state of shock whilst they process this awful news.
I keep thinking of all the times we've spent together, some around 19 years ago! I met Charlotte when she started dating Steve, and quickly became friends with her too. They were there at my wedding, they visited me when I was in hospital having the twins. They are true friends.
He was the 'myth' of the perfect guy. And he found his perfect lady, Charlotte Wright. They were the most beautiful couple you'd ever seen. And they made the most beautiful children. For the family to lose him so young its beyond tragic, there just aren't words for it.
I'm going to help in taking care of Charlotte and the boys in anyway I can, for Steve.
I might not be able to be there with them (I'm in Eastleigh, they are Kent) but what I can do is raise money to help support Charlotte. The last thing she needs is to have to worry about money at all, so this will at least ease that burden.
Please please spare a thought and a penny or two to help this incredible family during the most horrific of times.
To Steve, I wanna say, I love you and I'll miss you more than you'll know. The world is a lesser place without you in it.
