In Memory of Rose Tchalabi

Our beloved mother, Rose Tchalabi, passed away on November 28th, 2017 at home surrouned by all of her children and grandchildren. One thing for sure - she was loved. We were so priviledged to have mom with us for 92 years. She was truly an amazing mother and woman with a caring, loving and giving heart.
She was born in New York City on 8/29/1925 and shortly after they moved to North Arlington, NJ. Mom went to Jefferson Elementary School and graduated from North Arlington High School and lived there for 30 years. Mom loved North Arlington and would often talk about all of her wonderful memories there.
Eventually Mom and Dad bought a home far away in Kearny, NJ and raised their family. Mom has lived in Kearny for 62 years, and over the years has made many wonderful friendships and beautiful memories that lasted a lifetime.
Our Mom was a giving person and would always give to various charities and organizations. We are honoring her request for a simple departure but would like to honor her name by giving back to the two communities she lived and truly loved. We have decided to make sure that one family from each community who is struggling will have a holiday this year in memory of our beloved mother.
We know how difficult this time of year is for everybody but if you plan on donating please do so by 12/15/17 so that we will have the time neccessary to ensure the families will have their holiday.
We are working with both towns and the funds will be distributed equally between them.
