In Memory of Ramon Cota-Orduño

On Friday, March 16, 2018, the world lost a very special man. Ramon was an amazing husband and father, an  incredible employee, and a true friend.

At 47 years old, Ramon was taken from us too soon. Ramon moved from Sinaloa, Mexico to the Tahoe area to give his family a better life. He was a loyal employee to Hall's Excavating and celebrated 20 years of employment this year. We will all miss his laughter, contagious smile, and unbeatable culinary skills! He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working, music, movies, and good food! Ramon was a gentle and kind soul, who wouldn't want us to mourn his loss, but to celebrate the impact he has made on our lives and the opportunities he has provided for his family.

Ramon is survived by his wife, Martha, and two children. Martha provides housecleaning service to the Hall Family and has been providing childcare for Buck Hall's young children since their birth. Ramon was like a grandpa to the kids and is missed dearly. Ramon's daughter, Kristell, will graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno, in May with a degree in Biology. She plans to continue her education and work in the healthcare field. Ramon's son, Jesus, is a junior at Damonte Ranch High School. Upon graduation next year, Jesus plans to pursue a degree in engineering.

Please join us in supporting Ramon's family, as they transition into a new life. These funds will help cover monthly bills and college expenses that were primarily paid by Ramon's wages.
