In Memory of Phuong Kathy Nguyen

2020 and 2021 will be years I will never forget...

This terrible pandemic has not only affected everyone, but it has left a hole in our lives. My sister, Kathy, was more than a sister to me; she was my best friend, a daughter, a loving mother, and a friend to many amongst many other things. She was only 37 years old. She leaves behind two young children, ages 10 and 5 who will grow up without their mother only to have limited memories of her from their younger years.

For 15 years, she was a passionate teacher who desired to give her students a better education for a brighter future. She dedicated countless hours and even her own personal time to see to it that her students succeeded in the classroom or on the field.

She will be dearly missed by many, and this world will be a bit dimmer without her light. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating toward Kathy’s funeral costs, medical expenses, and for her children.
