In memory of Parminder Singh and Harpreet Bajwa

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of a dear friend Parminder Singh Bajwa and his wife Harpreet Kaur Bajwa in a tragic road accident. They are survived by 2 young kids, a 8-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son, who are now left without parents.

On Friday, April 28th, 2023, Parminder and Harpreet requested their neighbors to pick up the kids from the school bus, since they were running late on their way back, unaware of the tragic destiny that lies ahead of them. They were hit head-on by a distracted driver, apparently reaching for his cell phone! Parminder, a dear friend, fellow motorcycle rider, husband, and father and his wife Harpreet, lost their lives on the spot. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn their loss and remember the wonderful souls they were.

Those who knew Parminder remember him as a good man, always cheerful and loving towards others. He had a contagious smile that could brighten anyone's day, and he touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Our hearts break for their young children, who now face a future without their loving parents. We cannot imagine the pain and sadness they must be feeling in the wake of this tragic loss. As a community, it is our responsibility to come together to provide emotional support and comfort to his children during this difficult time.

We want his children to know that they are not alone and that they have a community of people who care about them deeply. We will do everything in our power to ensure that they have the resources they need to thrive despite their loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this difficult journey, and we are committed to standing by them every step of the way.

We are reaching out to you today because we need your help in supporting his family during this difficult time. As a motorcycle club, that stands by our shared values and brotherhood, Sikh Riders Motorcycle Group will bear all funeral-related expenses for our fallen brother and his wife. We will spare no effort in ensuring that the funeral arrangements reflect his life and values and that his memory lives on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday May 5th in Kent WA. Please contact below if you want to attend and we'll share the details.

However, we understand that the road ahead will be tough, and we want to ensure that his children have the resources they need to thrive despite their loss. All contributions will be directed to a trust fund being set up. The fund will be used to ensure that his children have access to the resources they need to thrive, including educational opportunities that will help them achieve their dreams and build a better future for themselves. We know that their parents would have wanted nothing but the best for their children, and we are committed to making sure that they have the support and resources they need to succeed.

ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਮ ਪਤਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ 2 ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ, 8 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਬੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ 5 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਬੇਟਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਹੁਣ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ, 28 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ, 2023 ਨੂੰ, ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਬੱਸ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਦੌੜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਤੋਂ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਸਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਭਟਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਸੈੱਲ ਫੋਨ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ! ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ, ਇੱਕ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਦੋਸਤ, ਸਾਥੀ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰ, ਪਤੀ, ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਭਾਰੀ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਸੋਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਨ।
