In Memory of Nicholas Amsberry

Donation protected
It is with great sadness that the family of Nicholas S. Amsberry, announces his passing on Sunday, February 4, at the age of 34 years.

Nicholas was on a 9-month deployment to the Joint Multination Readiness Center in Parsbery, Germany. He entered the Army in 2003 and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, out of Fort Riley, Kansas.

Nicholas is surivied by his daughter Brynlee (age 9) and will be lovingly remembered by his Father Rick, Mother Carol, Step-Father Nick, sister Sara, and brother Kyle.

Nicholas and his family are dear friends and considered family. Like most of us his immediate family are members of the working class and we are raising money in the hopes that they can take some time to grieve the loss of their son and celebrate his life with loved ones as well as for the future of Nicholas' daughter, Brynlee.
Our hearts go out to them during this time. We ask for you to do the same and donate what you can.
No mother should ever have to bury her child.

"It breaks our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
A part of us went with you,
the day God took you home.
If tears could build a stairway,
and heartaches make a lane,
we'd walk our way to heaven,
and bring you back again.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we love you still,
in our hearts you hold a place
no one could ever fill."
