In Memory of Nevin Dechsi
Hello, my name is Jenny, and my cousin, Nevin Dechsi, unexpectedly passed away on September 6, 2018, at 30 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Chud Dechsi, who passed away a year ago on July 3, 2017. Nevin is survived by his mother, Laied Dechsi, and his brother, Chakrit Dechsi.
My family is very proud of everything Nevin has accomplished in his 30 years with us. Nevin was a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Karate instructor. He was also a former yo-yo world champion, and traveled the world for both Karate and yo-yo championships. Before his sudden passing, he was continuing his studies in nursing at the Anne Arundel Community College, aspiring to become a registered nurse (RN) like his mother.
Our wish is to give Nevin an honorable memorial service and provide his surviving family peace of mind during this difficult time. The basic funeral service costs include a viewing, a casket rental, and cremation, in addition to a Thai memorial service, all totaling very close to $12,000. This amount will go directly to Nevin’s mother to recuperate the funeral costs. If any extra funds are donated, they will be used as a relief fund until Nevin’s surviving family can carry on from their mourning. We would truly appreciate any amount you can give.
