On Wednesday, November 7th peacefully in his sleep at home Nestor joined his loving wife Helen.
Born April 30, 1929 in Mink Creek Manitoba he is survived by Sharon, Ken (Joan), Janice (Dave), Kathy and Michelle (Norm). Loving Didzi of Matthew (Erin), Aron (Julie), Jenna (Hendrik), Laura and Robert.
Nestor’s children will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd.East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 5-8pm on Monday, November 12, 2018, with Panachyda taking place at 7pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Tuesday at 11:30am. The final rite of committal will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St., Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the Mink Creek Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery fund C/O Sonia Hucal P.O. Box 47, RR1, Ethelbert, Manitoba R0L 0T0 or to the charity of your choice.
