<div>It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the news of Monserrat Paola Mendez Sandoval's passing. Monse was a daughter, a sister, a soulmate to her partner, and a great friend to all. All of those who knew Monse knew that she was a very loving person, with a very strong personality. Monse was always one to help those who needed it and no matter the circumstances: Monse got the job done. Her loyalty to those she loved never went unnoticed and we can all vouch for that. Monse battled cancer for almost two years and fought hard, very hard, until the very end. She kept up her bright personality, dark humor and funny quirky moves until the very end. Monse was one to put her needs last, to help those that meant the most to her, first. Monse loved the ocean, reptiles, sea life and she definitely enjoyed a good restaurant with a good steak. Monse had just turned 35, she had plans - plans to travel, help our family move forward, plans to start her own family. Monse leaves behind two sisters, a devastated mother, and the love of her life. Although she was literally fighting for her life, she never put any of us second, ever.

<div>Due to her unexpected and untimely death, we are currently heavily struggling to cover costly medical bills as well as funeral costs and services. We are kindly calling on our friends, family, and community, welcoming any and all donations, so we can pay our debts to her the best way possible. It's the least we can do for her, one last time. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated, as we need all the help we can get. At this time we also ask that you all respect our privacy as we are still grieving the loss of Monse as this has not been easy, for any of us. We whole heartedly thank each and every one of you, in advance.

<div>Monse and I met in high school, at the time her and I were just friends but destiny has a funny way of bringing us back together. We were together for 13 years and they were the best 13 years of my life. Monse had such a drive for succeeding in life and it was a blessing to be part of her ambitions. She would constantly talk about buying a house for us and bringing her family with us because to her, family was everything. On November 7 of 2022, my Monse was diagnosed with leukemia. Hearing that news definitely broke me. This is the person that I wanted to spend my life with, I had found my other half. Monse didn't deserve this. She had such a big heart that anybody that was in trouble knew Monse would offer help from the very bottom of her heart. She had so much love for all sorts of animals: lizards, fish, cats, dogs etc. Her love was so immensely big that no words can describe it. To lose my other half is a devastating feeling that I don't wish that pain on anybody. So from the bottom of my heart, anybody that can help with any sort of donation would be greatly appreciated.

<div>Con gran pesar compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de Monserrat Paola Méndez Sandoval. Monse era hija, hermana, alma gemela de su pareja y una gran amiga de todos. Todos los que conocieron a Monse sabían que era una persona muy cariñosa, con una personalidad muy fuerte. Monse era alguien que podía ayudar a quienes lo necesitaban, sin importar las circunstancias: Monse hizo el trabajo. Su lealtad hacia sus seres queridos nunca pasó desapercibida y todos podemos dar fe de ello. Monse luchó contra el cáncer durante casi dos años y luchó duro, muy duro y hasta el final. Mantuvo su personalidad brillante, humor negro y movimientos divertidos y extravagantes hasta el final. Monse era de las que dejaban sus necesidades al final, y ayudaban primero a aquellos que más significaban para ella. A Monse le encantaba el océano, los reptiles, la vida marina y definitivamente disfrutaba de un buen restaurante con un buen bistec. Monse acababa de cumplir 35 años, tenía planes: planes para viajar, ayudar a nuestra familia a salir adelante, planes para formar su propia familia. Monse deja atrás a dos hermanas, una madre devastada y el amor de su vida. Aunque literalmente estaba luchando por su vida, nunca puso a ninguno de nosotros en segundo lugar.

<div>Debido a su muerte inesperada y prematura, actualmente estamos luchando mucho para cubrir las costosas facturas médicas, así como los costos y servicios funerarios. Hacemos un llamado amable a nuestros amigos, familiares y comunidad, agradeciendo todas y cada una de las donaciones, para que podamos pagar nuestras deudas con ella de la mejor manera posible. Es lo mínimo que podemos hacer por ella, una última vez. Cualquier cosa es muy apreciada, ya que necesitamos toda la ayuda que podamos conseguir. En este momento también les pedimos que respeten nuestra privacidad, ya que todavía estamos de duelo por la pérdida de Monse, ya que esto no ha sido fácil para ninguno de nosotros. <div>Monse y yo nos conocimos en la escuela secundaria, en ese momento ella y yo solo éramos amigos, pero el destino tiene una manera divertida de volver a unirnos. Estuvimos juntos 13 años y fueron los mejores 13 años de mi vida. Monse tenía un gran impulso para triunfar en la vida y fue una bendición ser parte de sus ambiciones. Ella constantemente hablaba de comprarnos una casa y traer a su familia con nosotros porque para ella, la familia lo era todo. El 7 de noviembre de 2022 a mi Monse le diagnosticaron leucemia. Escuchar esa noticia definitivamente me rompió. Esta es la persona con la que quería pasar mi vida, había encontrado mi otra mitad. Monse no se merecía esto. Tenía un corazón tan grande que cualquiera que estuviera en problemas sabía que Monse le ofrecería ayuda desde el fondo de su corazón. Tenía tanto amor por todo tipo de animales: lagartos, peces, gatos, perros, etc. Su amor era tan inmensamente grande que no hay palabras para describirlo. Perder a mi otra mitad es un sentimiento devastador que no le deseo ese dolor a nadie. Entonces, desde el fondo de mi corazón, cualquiera que pueda ayudar con cualquier tipo de donación sería muy apreciado.
