In memory of Michael Stubbs

Never in a million years would we think that we would be making a post like this. Words will never describe the sinking feeling when we received the phone call that would change our lives forever. Michael Stubbs was brutally murdered on May 03, 2022. It was his first day back on the job after a positive covid test.

Mike was working security in Downtown Honolulu when he was hit on the back of his head with a metal water bottle, causing him to fall face-first onto the brick walkway and ultimately ripping him from his family and friends. The assailant is still at large. We will never understand what could possess someone to do something so heinous, so selfish. We all feel like we are living in a fever dream, pulled from our deepest darkest nightmares.

Mike had a tender heart with a strong love for music and sarcasm. He always put his family and others before himself and did not deserve this sudden and violent fate. He left behind two sons, two stepdaughters, family, friends, coworkers and many others deeply saddened by his passing.

We humbly ask for your assistance during this incredibly difficult time in our lives. This has all happened so suddenly, and any help you can lend will be greatly appreciated by all who treasured Mike. Proceeds will be going to Mike's funeral arrangements, housing, and medical expenses.
