In Loving Memory of Isabel Guzman-Cruz

My name is Lori-Ann and I'm honored to tell you a little bit about Isa. She was the sassy, soul of her family. A tiny, loving, beacon of strength not just to her family but to  anyone who met her. Isa weathered Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and came from the destruction  to Massachusetts to stay with her amazing daughter Minerva and son Juan. Recently Isa was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Because of how advanced the cancer was when detected, Isa decided to  forego treatment, and spend her remaining moments with her
beloved children . Everything happened very quickly and today, the universe gained a beautiful star.  Isa passed away, with her children Minerva and Juan by her side, feeling perfectly safe and perfectly loved. 
Isa's daughter Minerva holds a very special place in my heart. She is the friend that you can always count on in any situation. If you know her, you adore her...if you don't know her, you wish you did. For the last year, Minerva has had to endure not one, but two surgeries. Because of this, she has been in pain and  out of work. Now with the sudden passing of her Mom, the person who gladly helps everyone, finds herself in a position where she could use some help herself. Funeral costs were not an expected expense, so it is putting an enormous strain on Min, Juan and their family. I know that times are tough right now. I also know there are a lot of wonderful people who would like to help this amazing family in their time of heartache and need. Donate whatever you can.
