In memory of Lokasani Mohan Reddy

Namaste to all fellow Indians in Germany,

 Following is the link for fundraising program to support the poor family of Mohan Reddy Lokasani(Student at University of Duisburg-Essen), who has passed away on 29.01.2020 by committing suicide in Essen city(Germany) as he was not able to cope up with the studies here in Germany leaving his family and friends in unrecoverable pain. His father is a poor farmer back in India (Muppala village, Andhra Pradesh), who has fallen into debts to fulfill his child’s desire for so-called foreign education and this is the second incident in the family that made family lose both of their sons. So, we students of the University of Duisburg-Essen urge everyone to contribute as much as you can, even a small aid give moral strength to the family to set back their financial crisis.

The collected fund will be transferred to Lokasani Govinda Reddy, father of Lokasani Mohan Reddy's personal Bank Account in India. As there is no option of sending money directly to his Indian bank account from GofundMe, firstly money will be transferred to my german bank account and then I will be transferring the money to him online via Skrill App. On request, I can share mine as well as  Mr. Lokasani Govinda Reddy's bank details via E-Mail.  Once I transfer the money, I will be sending a proof of transaction to each and every doner.  This fund will be helpful in clearing debt of 15.000 €, which was made for supporting his son's education in Germany.

Our Sincere thanks to Indian Consulate office at Frankfurt and Dasari Sai Reddy(Chairmen of Telugu-Velugu Germany)  for their immediate response soon after the incident and taking all the responsibilities right from police clearances to arranging the transportation facility in handing over the body to their family and also for their support towards this fundraising program.

Finally, on a personal note, don’t ever lose your life forcibly whatever might be the reason. Try to fight and win over the odds in life instead of taking quick bad decisions rather leads to enormous pain to the near ones.  

 We sincerely request everyone to share this post and make it wide so that we can achieve an ample amount that will be helpful to the family and pray God to give strength to his family and may his soul rest in peace.
