In Memory of Lexi

This is 16-year-old Alexis (Lexi) Brown from Wingham, Ontario. You may also know Lexi from the Owen Sound area, where she spent a lot of her time with family and friends. Less than one week ago, Lexi was so full of life. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Lexi. A beautiful smart, artistic, loving 16-year-old girl. She was a wonderful friend to many, protective big sister to her little brother and two younger sisters and loved beyond measure to her mother, Rikki Moffatt. This sudden loss of her precious first born is devastating to the family.
Lexi was the first child of 4 to Rikki and love of her life, but it didn’t stop there. If you had the chance to ever meet Lexi, you immediately fell in love with her kind soul. No one can fathom the heartbreak and confusion that her family are feeling right now.
They are far to proud to ask for help so I am asking for them.
In dealing with the struggle of Lexi, love and support is extremely appreciated. However, the unexpected expense of a funeral is significant. If you can donate just a small amount to help offset funeral costs and hopefully allow time off work to mourn the loss of her daughter and be with her young children at home, this gesture of kindness will never be forgotten.
As their family and friends, we have launched this GOFUNDME account for one reason. We want to help them get back on their feet financially and allow the family to grieve without worrying about the financial strain.
