As a result, I am prone to easily bruising in the skin, heavy nosebleeds, bleeding from the gums, gastrointestinal bleeding, and increased post-operative bleeding.

To develop GT, you inherit a mutated gene from both parents. This type of inheritance is called autosomal recessive.

So I underwent a bone marrow transplantation that initially was working okay, but then I caught a virus that made me lose my transplant. Unfortunately, I lost my battle on 9/25/25.
