In Memory of Larry

Larry Crain passed away on Wednesday, November 1st from a brain aneurysm. Suddenly and unexpectedly, we are left with nothing but memories from this extraordinary individual.
Larry (also known as Larebear and Larold) was someone that we were used to seeing every morning at the Lead Desk. You knew you would see his smiling face sitting at the Resort Operations computer. “Good Morning Larold!” and his response was a cheery “Well good morning! How are you doing today?” to everyone and anyone who greeted him. We all had built a personal relationship with him, and counted on seeing him almost every day. Larry’s laugh was full of happiness and love! Larry was a funny man that was full of sassiness, sometimes he would throw out a zinger that would send everyone around into a laughing frenzy. He was always willing to listen and give sound advice to anyone that asked. His warm hugs and radiant smile are things we are all going to truly miss. I am forever thankful that I got to spend the last two years getting to know Larold.
I can’t imagine all the lives he has touched, all of the friends he has made. To know him was to love him. Larry’s one true love was his Wife Bev. Bev allowed all of us to come and see Larold in the hospital, our thanks to her for making that possible. I don’t know her very well, but the few times I have met her including at the hospital she was welcoming and warm, which shows just how wonderful she truly is. The money we raise will be for Bev, to help her with any expenses we can. Any donation you make big or small will truly help. An average funeral cost $8,000… that is just the funeral. We loved Larry with all our hearts and want to take care of the person he loved with all his heart. Thank you for any help you are able to give!
