Hi, I am Becky, the niece and Goddaughter of Kevin Lindell. I am writing this on behalf of my Godmother, Cindy, and my cousins, Jason, Elisabet, Schyler, and Jenny.
With heavy hearts, we come together to mourn the unexpected loss of Kevin Lindell, a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. On February 18, 2024, Kevin left this world far too soon, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
Kevin's journey was one of resilience, love, and extraordinary strength. Despite facing immense challenges, including a quadriplegic condition, Kevin defied the odds time and time again. For over 30 years, he navigated life with unwavering determination, proving that his disability would not define him.
In addition to being a loving father to his five children, JJ, Jason, Elisabet, Schyler, and Jenny, Kevin was a lifetime member of the Staatsburg Fire Department, a proud member of the local Moose Lodge and the Rhinebeck American Legion, and a dedicated employee at Delarms Body Shop for over three decades. His commitment to service and his trade exemplified his character and dedication.
For over 40 years, Kevin and Cindy shared a home and a profound connection, finding solace and joy in their family's unity.
Within the walls of his home, Kevin was everything to his family. His children, seven grandchildren, nieces, and nephews all felt the warmth of his love and the strength of his spirit.
Tragically, Kevin's departure was preceded by the loss of his eldest son, Jeremiah (JJ), adding another layer of sorrow to this already difficult time. As we navigate through the grief and pain of losing such a remarkable man, we also face the daunting reality of the financial burdens that come with medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and memorial services.
To alleviate some of the financial strain on the Lindell family during this incredibly challenging time, we have created this GoFundMe campaign. Our goal is to come together as a community to support Cindy, Jason, Elisabet, Schyler, Jenny, and their families, ensuring that they can focus on grieving and healing without the added worry of financial stress.
Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering medical bills, funeral costs, and other necessary expenses associated with honoring Kevin's memory. No donation is too small, and every act of kindness brings us one step closer to providing the Lindell family with the support and comfort they deserve.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Kevin Lindell and cherish the memories we hold dear, let us also rally together to lift up his family during this time of profound loss. Your love, prayers, and support mean the world to us, and we are endlessly grateful for your generosity.
Thank you for standing with us in solidarity as we honor the legacy of a remarkable man who touched the lives of his family in profound ways. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that Kevin's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at Roosevelt Station 5 Fire Houe, in Staatsburg, NY from 2 pm - 6 pm on February 25th.
