In Memory of Keith Brownell
Donation protected
My close friend's father unexpectedly passed away on Saturday February 10th.
Keith Brownell was a loving father, patient listener, and had an endless love for his grandchildren. Anyone who knows Keith knows that he lived for his family. Keith and his wife Terry moved to Bellefonte, PA from Topeka, Kansas in October 2015 to be closer to their family. I had the pleasure of knowing Keith & Terry through our good friends, Chris and Lani Brownell.
The Back Story
Keith passed away from complications that occurred after a fall in their home on Thursday February 1, 2018. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance where they discovered he had a serious infection and his kidneys were beginning to fail. Days later, the family learned that he also sustained a stroke and the fluids they were pushing were not helping his kidneys. The doctors gave him the option to start dialysis to kick start his kidneys into working again. Unfortunately after a few treatments, the doctor spoke with Terry and Keith, explaining that there was no change with his kidneys. Keith decided to go home and be surrounded by his family. In his final days, he was ecstatic to be home with all of his loved ones. On Saturday February 10 surrounded by his wife and children, Keith passed away peacefully. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry, 3 children, their spouses, and 5 incredible grandchildren.
The Costs
Due to the unexpected nature of his passing, the family did not have life insurance. All donations will be given directly to his loving wife, Terry. Donations will assist with final expenses, celebration of life, unexpected medical bills and daily living expenses. Terry is an incredible woman who has always made it a priority to put others first, and I would love to be able to help her during this time. Keith's body has been donated to science, therefore there will not be a formal service held.
