It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Jose Arenas, who passed away on April 1st, 2026, at the age of 69 in Bryan, Texas, due to complications from pulmonary fibrosis. We had spent the last two weeks in the hospital fighting for more time and any chance of recovery but his lungs had no fight in them anymore.

Jose was a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a devoted family man. To his grandchildren, he was affectionately known as “Daddy” or “Wito” a name filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories. He had a deep love for soccer and found joy in the simple moments spent with his family, especially cheering, laughing, and being surrounded by those he loved most.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his strength, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His presence brought comfort and happiness to everyone around him, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. The unexpected costs have placed a financial burden on our family, and any contribution would mean more to us than words can express.
