Jesse VanRoon was 26 years old, but in reality he lived more than most people ever have. Jesse passed away in a snowboarding accident in Whistler on January 7.
He set his goals with what he wanted to achieve and having fun experiences snowboarding and spending time with friends. He was well loved by a huge circle of friends and all of his family. Everyone that knew him, always said how positive he was and knew that he always pushed people to do what they loved. He loved snowboarding as it was his passion. He lived without boundaries and always pushed himself. Jesse was a kind soul and never failed to put a smile on someone’s face and make them laugh. Jesse leaves behind his parents, Brenda and Michael ( step-mom Stephanie), his siblings, James, Dean, Sean, Mia, and Jordan. He leaves behind more VanRoon/Lang family across Ontario and Kelly family here in Thunder Bay. He also leaves behind many many good friends, like Doug (Thunder Bay), Jordan C, Melik, Dan, Zeus, Eric, and many many more. He had a huge circle of friends, lots from Thunder Bay, where he was from and lots from Whistler, where he was living. Jesse you will be dearly missed by everyone that you’ve touched in your life. We love you. The money raised is going to: - funeral costs - bringing him home - help support the family during this hard time
