On Saturday, June 29, the world lost a beautiful soul. Jesen Fagerness died suddenly after spending the morning doing the thing he loved most with his most favorite people – hanging in the park with his wife Emily, son Murray, and loyal canine companion Manny.
Jesen touched every life he came across, made lifetime friendships out of what for other people would have been momentary encounters with strangers, filled the room with laughter, met everything with joy, and loved his wife Emily and their beautiful son Murray with every fiber of his being. The world is a smaller place without him.
In addition to the heartache and grief this family is feeling, Jes’ sudden passing brings with it unexpected costs. Jes was Murray’s primary caretaker. The donations made as part of this fundraiser will be used to help defray the cost of childcare and education for Murray and to help ensure his needs are met while the family adjusts to this immeasurable loss.
