On January 16, 2018, James J. Carroll earned his final set of wings. He flew away while on duty at the young age of 26, leaving behind his family, many friends, and Katie Barrington, his love and fellow flight attendant.
James was a kind hearted and genuine young man with a heart of gold. He could light up any face and fix any challenging day with one of his famous bear hugs. His concern for his crew and ability to create a fun and professional work environment made the longest days pleasant. He took a special pride in seeing that his passengers received the personalized experience that United Airlines is famous for.
We will always remember James and his passion for his career and his love for others. He will be sorely missed by so many.
Donations received through Gofundme will help to create a memorial service, honoring James and his everlasting legacy. Leftover funds will be donated to the family. I will be getting the money from my account and then giving it to Katie and the family at that time. The funds will be spend however the family feels necessary.
