<div>It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of Edgar Sifuentes, a loving husband to his wife Melva and a cherished member of his church community. Edgar was a hardworking man with a dream of one day building a home for his family in his homeland of Guatemala. Tragically, while at work, a wall collapsed and buried him, taking nine long hours for rescuers to retrieve his body.

<div>This unexpected and devastating loss has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Edgar's family, especially his wife Melva, are now facing not only the emotional pain of their loss, but also the financial burden of funeral and legal expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

<div>The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used to help cover these immediate expenses and provide support to Edgar’s family as they navigate the challenges ahead. Both Lizbeth Dionicio-Bonilla and I, Carmen Bonilla are nieces of Melva, wife of our dearly parted, Edgar Cifuentes. We have created this to help our aunt and the money will be transfered to Lizbeth Dionicio-Bonilla who in turn will assist our aunt in paying for the expenses.  Your generosity and support will make a meaningful difference in their lives as they mourn the loss of a husband, father, and friend.
