Danny a sterling Gentleman of the Highest Order....

A Fearless Solider with the upmost respect from his piers and Command eliminate alike. 

Danny also had a permanent smile stuck to his face, with never a bad word to say about, or to anyone. He was a strong personality in the ‘Tigers’, 2PWRR, and a Leader amongst the Ranks. 

Even though Danny had so many people to turn to, friends, Family and Comrades... He locked everything away in his mind under lock and key, the horrors of War, pain and suffering for others and of himself.

On Sunday 20th May, Danny went missing from his Mums house in Bognor Regis. After a tireless search for Danny by his Tiger family, the police and public, he was found. 

The ending of Danny’s story is tragically not a one off. So many members of our armed forces struggle every day with the after effects of serving. PTSD and mental health problems often go undiagnosed and professional help not given.

For almost a century, Combat Stress have helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict. On the phone and online. In the community and at our treatment centres.

They are on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, they are there to help tackle the past and to help them take on the future.

I have family and friends who have served or are serving in 2PWRR and I know how deeply this has effected the Tiger family. Please help us raise money to help Combat Stress help our veterans. We owe them so much.
