In Memory of Cheryl Barnes Carson

On March 1, 2018 our families were devastated by Cheryl's sudden and unexpected passing. Cheryl was bright, confident, determined, beautiful, and fierce. And underneath all of that, she also had a tender, warm heart and a delightful sense of humor. Cheryl will forever be missed by all of us and we’re so very sorry to share this news with those of you who knew and loved her as we did. There are no words to express the depth of our sadness. 

Cheryl leaves behind her three beloved children, George, Owen, and Charlotte, her mother Patti, her brother Cory, her sister-in-law, Lexie, four loving nephews, and her extended family.

We have created this fund to help ease the financial burden on Cheryl's family during this difficult time. Your contributions will help cover the costs of the memorial service being planned in Washington DC; travel expenses for the family, so they can all be together for support and to attend Cheryl's funeral and memorial events; and a Tribute Bench that will be installed at a local, favorite park where Cheryl brought her children countless times over the years - and where they can now go to remember their mother and reflect on the wonderful memories they shared there.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the families also ask each of you to share this page. Contributions of any size are welcome and much appreciated. Any additional funds will be donated to charity in Cheryl's name.
