<div>My wife Catherine "Cat" Waldron, age 44, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Virginia from a rapid onset of complications after a recent diagnosis of Metastatic Colon Cancer.  Along with the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and varied communities (both online &amp; in-person) that have been such a huge part of our lives, I've been asked a handful of times where to donate in her memory.

<div>In her youth, she was devoted to ministry in The Salvation Army, serving the Lord through her musical gifts in singing, sacred dance, and youth counseling. She had a deep passion for traveling, enjoyed playing games, and found joy in cooking. She had a remarkable ability to listen without judgment, offering advice only when needed, and knew exactly when to simply sit with you through life’s hardest moments. She had a unique gift for turning even the simplest moments into unforgettable adventures. She took great pleasure in entertaining others and was a wonderful host. She was unparalleled—whether it was a small gathering or a weekend getaway, she ensured every detail was perfect.
