There are hardly words to describe the horrendous loss of this beloved individual...... I studied abroad with Candy 10 years ago with over 200 other students, all of whom have remained a close-knit international family ever since.
We all loved Candy and her beautiful spirit... She was easy going and funny, light-hearted and playful, but also deeply soulful... She loved to spark meaningful conversation, and provoke thoughtful debates amongst her friends... She was smart and witty, with a sincere smile and laugh that lit up her whole being.
She was a nomad at heart... and was the perfect travel buddy for any spontaneous, crazy adventure.
Her genuine positivity radiated from her, and it inspired people everywhere she went. She will be terribly missed by all of us...
We are starting this campaign to help pay for the funeral costs for Candy and her mother, and to help support her brother Adam during this unimaginably difficult time.
