In Memory of Billy Nuttall

Hi, we're doing this gofundme in memory of Billy. Billy passed away on the 26th of July from COVID. He died in intensive care with his dad by his side, aged 24. 

We have checked that we have the support of Paul, Billy's dad. The first proportion of funds raised will go to funeral and memorial costs. Paul has let us know that they had no insurance for this; contributions would be appreciated but please don't feel pressure to give anything other than a kind word.

Anything over that will go to a charity that we feel Billy would feel passionately about (and as we know, he was a superbly passionate person). We're thinking a disability rights campaign group, but we'll work with Billy's family to choose and update this once we know.

We've set the fundraising target at £1 to avoid anybody feeling under pressure to donate.

We know that people have been asking for an address for flowers/cards, and if you are one of them, we invite you to give to this.

Remember to fight the spread of COVID19. Even though the government has relaxed rules, wear masks, get vaccinated, self-isolate if pinged, take PCR tests rather than lateral flows tests, and fight your employer if you need to self-isolate.
